Destiny..

Some things to be destined cannot be changed. Some things we never thought happen accidently in life.
Life gets screwed up, suddenly, the reason could be anything serious. Below goes the story of a youngster, having lots of dreams as every Indian has after completing his Studies. Akshay after completing his secondary school certificate got admission in Pharmacy college. Completing 4 years of Pharmacy, Akshay persuade for his masters degree in management.
After just a couple of interviews, Akshay got associated with India's top Pharmacy company, Ranbaxy. Very excited about the job and his tremendous enthusiasm soon made akshay a responsible and valuable employee for the company, within 1 year of his job he got promoted twice. Askhay's office was located at Andheri and he used to stay at bhyander. Yes, Akshay had to live in mumbai. Like all other's he also had a dream and views, opinions about this city, Mumbai.. people call it as city of dreams. Many expats from small towns come to try their luck here. Some make it for their life time and few cannot. so its said,
"Bambai usski hai jiso jam gayi.."
It’s also said that Mumbai never sleeps, all around the clock you see people going places. Some travelling back from office, many going to office late hours for night shifts. Akshay had normal office hours, morning 10 to evening 7. The only medium to travel to office fast was the very life line of Mumbai.. The Mumbai Local Trains. Akshay being educated from interior parts of Maharashtra were bike and car or other personal vehicle is the large medium of transport, find it very difficult to commute in the Mumbai local trains. But his job aspiration and increased salary left him with no option to continue with the life style of 1.5 core mumbaikars.
A routine day to his office, Akshay woke up at 7.30 in morning was already late from his daily schedule. Somehow managed to finish his morning activities and skipped breakfast only to reach station on time, so that he could catch his daily local. But today he missed that one. So he decides to board Virar Fast, 8:20 AM A much crowded than any other local on the western line. He waited in anticipation that he could be able to board easily. He did as today for his luck the rush was very less. He reached office in time. Was happy to see his friend Anil. Anil a proper mumbaikar, Staying at vashi, was used to all this mumbai travelling. Whenever they have debates, Anil never used to leave a chance to pull akshya's leg on Mumbai’s travelling. Few chat's of girls, couple of coffee breaks and few preparations for day after tomorrow’s meeting made a complete day for Akshay.
Finishing his routine.. he started to move for his home. Hurriedly caught up a rick for andheri station and reached platform no 2. Sweating, with laptop hanged on 1 shoulder and Tiffin bag on another one, Akshay, patiently waited for train to come. Suddenly announcement was made..
"Platform kramanka don var yenari local platform kramanka 4 var yenar aahe"
Local coming on platform no 2 will come on 4 now. After completion of announcement, everybody rushed to platform no 4, Akshya somehow managed to get there on time. It was very crowded, he somehow could just step in on the door, and he pushed himself in and got into a comfortable position somehow. The train was very crowded, besides Akshaya was standing 1 more Mumbaikar, just standing on his toes right at edge of the local train door. Soon as borivali passed, crowd increased making it very difficult even to hang up. The train was moving fast, and then bad time came when that guys, besides akshay lost control on him and fell off the edge.. down from the moving train on the tracks, people saw another train coming in opposite direction, everybody was stunned, Akshay's heart beat increased, the man laid on the tracks unconscious, unaware of death approaching his way.. Fast came the train and ramped him down to death. A moment of pin drop Silence in the so crowded local. Akshay was traumatized. Thinking of the same, Akshay reached his apartment in Bhayader. The scene recreated in front of him many times and he could hardly eat his dinner. Akshay slept early just to wake up early for another day's routine.
Next day at office as Akshay started off with his daily routine, the last night scene images would revolve in front of him. but he could do his normal work as well. People have very short memory now days. It was already 8'o clock when Akshay finished with his day's work. He started off for his home, caught a rick and reached andheri station, moved to his usual place to get boarded inside train. Virar local came and today Akshay was determined to board this was as he was tired and wanted to take rest going home even though the local was too crowded to board. But today was not just another day for Akshay. Some strong vibes struck him as he today somehow managed to get the edge near door to standup inside local. This was exactly the same position from where the guy fell down last day. But all these things were in subconscious mind of Akshay. When Akshay struggling to make his place safe, it was hard for him to keep his balance, he was holding laptop firmly and decided to ask someone to keep his laptop at the language keeping area inside local. But then he thought, it won’t be safe to pass this one on with the stranger's. At that instance there was a sudden jerk in the local and akshay's hand slipped off from the bar which he was holding, Whole world came down in seconds for him, he went blank for fraction of seconds. It was end of the world for him, he was already dead, until he find someone grabbing his hand to pull him back in the local. Yes, Akshay was saved from falling on the tracks, unlike the guy who had his end last night. In this time, Akshay lost his laptop, it went trembling down on the tracks along with his Tiffin bag. But his life was saved and that's worth a million. Akshay was thankful to the guy who pulled him back. He immediately got down at the next station, meera road and walked down on the tracks to find for his laptop, walking few minutes on the track he finally found his laptop, he gathered it and with no courage he left for his home by catching a direct taxi to his place. He walked to his apartment, opened the entrance door and just threw his laptop on bed and desperately sat down on sofa to relax, but within seconds he walked up to fridge, took a chilled glass of water to pour it on his head to keep him cool. Akshay went unease as he started relating the two incidents, yesterday's and today, Yesterday the guy was unlucky to get saved, today by God's grace Akshay is safe, but this thing didn’t strike his mind. Only thing that Akshay was thinking was that if it had been not for the guy to save him, he was dead. Akshay's entire life stood before him and he was so moved by this incident that he without giving a second thought, picked up his mobile and called up his boss and straight away told him about his resignation. His boss asked him to chill and said we can talk tomorrow at office about this. But Akshay had already made up his mind. The incident was so horrible that he decided to quit Mumbai, Quit Mumbai’s life, Quit the local trains.
Mumbai, the city of dreams, where people live in an aim to change their track of life from slow local track to fast track, was not meant for Akshay. He was supposed to go back to small town from where he belonged. He went back to office just put down his resignation and that too without finding another job. Finally after a week's work, Akshay moved back to his hometown and decided to take a break and the start looking for another job. He got one as pharmacy regional sale officer in a small town "Wardha" of Nagpur district. This was Akshay's new life. His job was highly paid and also respectable. Being placed in small town, he had hardly to spend. Within months he bought a Laptop, A home theater system, big 29" TV, Sony Handy cam and booked a brand new Maruti zen car. His life was like a dream comes true for every bachelor on India. Seeing there only son getting settled down, Akshay's parents forced up for his marriage. Akshay's grew in his professional life and soon he became the area manager, also was awarded the best employee certificate from the president of his company. His growth graph was exponential until his destiny decided to unfold. It was just another routine work for akshay when his boss asked him to get transferred to different location. As Zhuben, new area manager was already been appointed in the place of Akshay. This was company's policy to rotate there employees. Akshay didn’t like this. He had grown so many social contact's that he believed it was impossible for the company to relocate him. He was right, even the company's business might suffer but who care's when it comes to policies. Akshay was unaware to consequences’ he might faced if he disagrees. He decided to quit this job. Now this was just to show the management his capabilities. He thought his management will put zhuben in some different location and Akshay will continue to enjoy his tenure. He resigned in anticipation and just calmly waited for the management to come back to him for negotiations. But as rightly said by someone,
"Love your job, not your company.. Because you won’t come to know when your company's stop loving you".
was very true in this case. Akshay's resignation was accepted without even asking a word to him. Akshay was out of this company jobless. This was second time for him to lose a job without finding another one. Was it Akshay's decisions behind this, or this is what was in Akshay's faith?
Akshay was already in deep shit with CAR and other gadgets loan to repay and now he was without job. His parents too disappointed as they already started for looking bride for akshay. Akshay started looking for another job. He tried hard to get one with the same field "Fharma" but unable to find one, he started looking for Call center jobs'. It was boom time for call center then and Akshay finally got a night shift job at a domestic call center. Akshay shifted to Pune, moved into a small cot system livings. From Car, moved to bike. From big salary to small one. and now we could say that this was the new life for Akshay. This one full of compromises. Being frustrated, Akshay even tried for some jobs at Mumbai as well, the city he was never supposed to get back.
Finally his patience paid, He got a respectable job as a counselor for Amway. A decent salary and that too not in Mumbai.
Akshay's life continues but you never know what's there in store for him and us in future.
Life is full on uncertainties’. But all these are situational and mostly people tend to forget things as the situation has already surpassed and time has passed by.
I do not know if the desitny is always there predetermined for each individual.
I do not know if we can change things with our decision, or the decision's made by us are only selections that are already made by almighty for us.
But i do believe that in the end "Jo hota hai .. acche ke liye he hota hai"
And we should not lose our patience and fall down in any situation of life to make the above statement true.
